pbForth

Ralph Hempel's replacement firmware turns an RCX into a live Forth system. You get a prompt on the brick over the tower, so you type a word and it runs — no compile, no download, no waiting.

Beside legOS · brickOS in C and leJOS in Java, this is the third of the replacement firmwares. The interactive prompt is the whole point: good for poking at hardware and for teaching Forth on something that moves.
