WinVLL
A Windows program that fills the Micro Scout P slot through the LEGO infrared tower. It is the turnkey answer on that platform: no code to write and no emitter to build.
What it reaches
| Capability | State | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Write a program into the P slot | works, untested here | through the USB tower, which flashes visible red light at the sensor |
| Run without the tower | out of reach | the tower is the emitter; there is no other output path in it |
| Anything but Windows | out of reach | a native Windows binary of its era |
What it proves
The P slot was always fillable from a computer, and it is the shortest route for somebody who has the tower in a drawer. Everything else on the emitter list is a way to produce the same light without that hardware.
