RIS · RCX Code

The official consumer software that shipped with the RCX Robotics Invention System (Windows). You build programs by dragging puzzle-piece blocks ("RCX Code") that snap into a stack; the PC compiles them to RCX bytecode and downloads over the IR tower (RCX IR protocol).

It was built for beginners. Anyone who stayed with the brick moved to NQC.
