ROBOLAB

LEGO's software for schools, built on LabVIEW by LEGO DACTA, Tufts University and National Instruments. You wire icons together as dataflow and send the result over the tower.

• Targets the RCX and the Scout (and older Control Lab / Interface A hardware); later versions bridged toward the NXT.
• Layered difficulty: Pilot (pick-from-list, simple) → Inventor (full icon dataflow with loops, variables, containers).

It is the classroom twin of the consumer RIS software, and both compile to the same bytecode.
