76 kHz IR family

A 76 kHz infrared carrier, one way. A LEGO remote link that existed for about a year and lost. Same idea as Power Functions but on a 76 kHz carrier, so nothing that speaks one speaks the other. A few sets shipped with it and they are still on shelves.

Members

All share the 76 kHz carrier and a similar message format with selectable channels/frequencies (3 on the Manas, plus a fourth setting that talks to all of them). It never gained traction and was replaced by the 38 kHz PF protocol.

A 76 kHz device needs a 76 kHz-modulated IR emitter/receiver, not a 38 kHz one.
